First, just let me scream to the top of my lung: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

YAY ME!!!!!!!!

I am sooo happy! This could be the best day of the week. And this could be the best week of my New year. Haha. I dont know but this is absolutely a good start for a new year. Money, Love, Career, everything seems to be in tune.

4.30pm on a Saturday afternoon and I was dozing in my bed when I received a message from my mentor, Nisa Kibona. Nisa is currently a financial analyst working for Merck, the biggest pharmacy company in the world. She is a graduate at Winthrop University and I met her totally unexpectedly. I was playing around with different applications on Winthrop EagleLink when I clicked "Add to Favorite" to her name in the Networking section. I did that just randomly, never thought I would get replied. To my surprise, Nisa contacted me quickly through email and expressed her interest in being my mentor. I was sooo excited to find out that she is also an international student coming to study in the U.S. She attended a small public college in N.C., and was able to land a job in Morgan Stanley, working there for 3 years before she switched to her new job in Merck Co. and went to Winthrop for her MBA. Nisa is really helpful, smart, outgoing, and could be the best mentor an international student can have. We have been emailing each other, we met once before winter break, and now she texted me. So, what is the content of the message that makes me happy like crazy? SHE OFFERS ME A JOB SHADOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg, can you believe it? She offers me a job shadow! She even offers picking me up from school and takes me to her workplace once a month so that I can observe how people work and ask them questions! I couldnt ask for more! She even says she would share her resume with me, and help me through the process of preparing application for my internship this summer. This is a great start. It absolutely boosts my motivation and determination to succeed in my internship application this time. OMG! I LOVE MY MENTOR! (uhm... I must find something for her as a gift!!!!)

Ok, so that is the best best best thing that can happen today. Another thing is that I finally confronted anh Bach. It was hard to talk to him about my new potential boyfriend... After all, I and Bach have been trying to keep our relationship for a long time, even though I am always the one running after him and try to suffer his coldness and detachedness. As usual, I cried, a lot. I choked when I talked. But at least, I finished my sentences, and he understood. He is always like that. Cool, calm, collected. He just stared at me, then laughed in a way that I could never understand. He told me to do whatever I feel comfortable because he wants the best for me. So I said I would date Tung because he made me feel comfortable.  After all, he is the one who is always there for me. I tell him everything. When I am in trouble, when I am desperate, when I am exhausted, when I am happy, when I am excited, I tell him and share with him every single moment. He knows me and knows my story. He is a great guy. He is sooo cute, he is intelligent, he is so lovely! he is independent, reliable, family-oriented, emotional and sensitive guy. I couldn't ask for more. I think dating him would be the best decision I could make in my love life so far <3

And finally, today, 5.14pm January 8th, I have told him: I love you. I have told him the word "yêu" in the sincerest way I can say. And I can feel my emotion. Is that because of the excitement from the job shadow offer? I dont know, but I know I love him:D

This is absolutely a great start for my new year, 2011. Happy New Year!!!
