My lucky period :D

These past few weeks have been an influx of great news for me. Like a farmer overwhelmed in the esctacy of a ripen harvest, I just can't stop holding a big smile on my face and being overexcited all the day. "You must do the thing you think you can't do." That is true. I went in for things that are so competitive and challenging that I myself always secretly think that they are beyond my reach, now, they are here, in my hands. Everything is just as I want. Life cannot be better.
I do believe in luck as where opportunity meets preparation. And this long period of luck is just so esctatic for me because I have been working so hard throughout the year and I jumped in competitions, in any opportunity and now it is time for me to harvest the success. It is great!
So from last week, I first was speechless by a totally unexpected email from my history professor. Dr. Silverman, just an amazing guy. He is like everyone's grandfather. He is such a great storyteller, has a big sense of humor, big heart for his students. Yet, I would never expect to receive he would give me such a high appreciation for a history paper that I spent one night writing and cursed afterwards. This is his email:

Hehe. That is the first great news that started my whole lucky period.
The next day I found out I got 100% correct for both my Finance test and Accounting test. My Finance professor, Dr. Glenn Wood, who in my opinion is a cold and impersonal professor who never cares to talk to me because I am always so quiet in class, talked to me for the first time outside class: " I am proud of you." For such a person to speak out those words, it was a tremendous reward for me.
Then within that week I was informed that I was selected to be Student Director of Multicultural Student Council next year. This is exactly the position I had my eye on since first days in college. Now I got it. I am excited to revamp MSC culture and bring excitement to the organization.
This week alone I was offered 2 internships. 3-month-internship at HSBC and 2.5 month-internship as an equity research analyst at Viet Capital Securities. Of course the last news is the highest accomplishment of all and what gave me the most satisfaction. I can't believe I finally made it. There was one point I already gave up on SEO, believing that I had no chance to shoulder with some of the most brilliant youth in Vietnam. Now that I got it, I feel so accomplished. A big boost for my self-esteem and confidence.
Of course I am a little bit sad because of my short summer with my family, and above all, with Bach Beo. I just hope we can hang out as much as possible. After all, he is still the most special one for me until now. I enjoy flirting with him, teasing with him, making fun of him. Do not know what would be the future for us coz I am such a rolling stone right now, and wont settle any time near the future. But life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get. I think the best way to live is just to enjoy the moment. I will enjoy any single moment I have with him:D
Haha, forget to update a funny story. So I went to club last night, the 2nd time of the year. I can't believe I can live such a moron life for so long. Anyway, there was a cute French guy hit on me. Haha. It is funny because we study in the same class and I never notice him and I believe he has the least interest in me. Yet last night, when we were on the way back, he sat next to me on the bus, put his hand over my shoulder, stared at me and just caressed my face. Then he leaned forward, kissed me on the cheek.
"What????????????" was exactly what I felt. "Are you drunk?" I frowned.
"No."
"I saw you drink a lot tonight."
"I am not drunk because I drank." He smiled, still lost in my eyes. "I am drunk because of your beautiful face."
"WOWWWWWWW" =)) And I just wowed, the biggest and longest "wow" ever. Haha. It just feels great to listen to a guy's flirt. Haha. Another boost for self-esteem. Anyway, he is cute.Haha.
Do not know if there is any upcoming great news for my lucky period or the period gonna end here, but I know this is the start of something great. I will try to learn as much as I can, make as many connections as I can during this summer. Let's see what my destiny has for me and Bach Beo :)
